See below for more information about our four choirs: Carrolleers Choir, Chanterelles, Concert Choir, and Madrigals.
Carrolleers Choir
Carrolleers is the freshman women’s ensemble at BCCHS, open to any freshman woman who wants to sing. This ensemble performs women’s mixed music in a variety of styles and compositional periods.
Chanterelles
Chanterelles is our advanced upper class women’s ensemble. This choir is selected by audition only. Auditions are held in the Spring for the following year - all candidates must be able to read music well, have outstanding attitudes, attendance and work ethics as well as completion of the basic theory. This ensemble not only performs many pieces throughout the year, but also has the opportunity to go on tour in the fall.
Concert Choir
Concert Choir is our intermediate level mixed ensemble. This ensemble is open to any freshman male, as well as any sophomore, junior, or senior who is interested in singing with a mixed ensemble. This choir takes the basics of reading music and sight singing, and enhances it with music and performance.
Madrigals
Madrigals is our advanced upper class mixed ensemble. This choir is selected by audition only. Auditions are held in the Spring for the following year - all candidates must be able to read music well, have outstanding attitudes, attendance and work ethics as well as completion of the basic theory. This group learns music fast, and works quickly, as they sing many times in the community, as well as on tour in the fall.
